St. Chad Pilgrimage Walk - 26 miles
From his cathedral in Birmingham where his shrine is now held, to St. Chad's Cathedral in Lichfield, where he was Bishop. The pilgrimage follows paths , canals via Kingstanding, Sutton Park, Little Aston and Wall to Lichfield. It is suggested that it is made into a two day walk/pilgrimage allowing time to explore both cathedrals and attend a service in each. St. Chad is one of England's premier saints and brought Christianity to the Midlands. A colleague of St. Aidan and St. Cedd.
Lichfield Cathedral is a stunning building and is the only one in England to have three towers.
